Create a Project

A Project has one source platform and one target platform. You may add users and perform multiple migrations, with different configuration settings if necessary, within each defined Project.

To Create a Project, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Project > New Project form the main menu

  2. Input a project name in the Project name field

  3. Select Source platform (messaging system you are migration FROM)

  4. Select authentication credentials

    • If you will use passwords for each user being migrated, select End-user credentials
    • If you will use an administrator account to migrate end-user accounts (so you don’t need end-user passwords, select Admin credentials

  5. Select Target platform (messaging system you are migration TO)

  6. Select authentication credentials

    • If you will use passwords for each user being migrated, select End-user credentials
    • If you will use an administrator account to migrate end-user accounts (so you don’t need end-user passwords, select Admin credentials

  7. Select Create Project

Note:
Once you Create a Project you will not be able to change the Source or Target platform. If you need to make a change to the Source or Target platform, you will need to create a New Project.
