Preventing Duplicate Items during Tenant-to-Tenant Migrations

When performing a tenant-to-tenant migration (such as Google Workspace to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 to Microsoft 365) special consideration must be given to deduplication. Proper configuration is important to prevent duplicate items from being created during migration, particularly when performing multiple migration passes or when source and/or target email addresses change between passes.
