Transend Migration Console contains a rich set of features that make up the most intuitive, flexible and scalable migration tool on the market.
Forecast Completion – While the migration is running, you may go to the Forecast screen to see the estimated time of completion. The forecast will update periodically based on actual data rates, plus the amount of data migrated and how much is remaining to migrate. You may also estimate other potential scenarios for scaling your migration project. For example, you can see how the forecasted completion would change if you added more Remote Agent Machines or increased the number of concurrent migrations per machine.
Automated Workflow – Every selection you make auto-enables the appropriate settings and options. We do the difficult work for you!
Add Remote Agent Machines – Transend Remote Agents perform the actual migration of data. Migration jobs are configured and created on the Console machine, which then uses its Daemon service to distribute those jobs to the Remote Agent Machines for processing. You may install as many Remote Agent Machines as needed to scale your migration, per your licensed edition type. The more Remote Agent Machines you scale your project across, the faster your migration will complete.
Adjust Concurrency – You may further scale the migration by adjusting the Concurrency setting in the Console. This tells the Agents how many user migration jobs to process in parallel. For example, if you have 3 Remote Agent Machines and a Concurrency value set to 4, you will be able to migrate a maximum of 12 users at the same time.
Enhanced Reporting – View all relevant migration details from within the interface.
Automated Status Notifications – Never be left in the dark about migration status! Receive real-time automated notifications that update data processing status. Configure notifications to be sent as often as desired, to as many recipients as necessary.
