Set up target tenant

Transend requires that the target tenant has been set up, with user accounts provisioned, before it can begin your migration.

Set up target platform & purchase licenses

• Microsoft 365 Plans & Pricing
• Google Workspace Plans & Pricing

Note:

• Users must be assigned licenses that include email. The following licenses do not include email, so do not assign these licenses to accounts in your User List:
  • Microsoft 365 Apps license does not include email.
  • Google Workspace Essentials license does not include email.

Register primary domain

You will need to verify ownership of your MX records when registering your domain in the target. This requires access to your DNS records. If you don’t know who hosts your DNS records, find your domain registrar.

Note:

• Only validate that you own the domain(s). Do not switch the MX record yet! That will come later.
