Transend Transport Considerations

The Transend Transport conversion choice is a database created by TransendCorporation, and it is created for the purpose of performing a two stepmigration, or for data storage. It contains all the data and attachments from asingle migration, and its size limit is 4 GB.

The Transend Transport file isn’t part of an email system. Instead, it is adatabase containing email, attachments, the metadata associated with the emailand attachments, address books, calendar entries, and task items. When migratingfrom or to Transend Transport it can be located on the local workstation or on anetwork file server share.

Requirements

  • Transend Migration Console is required in order to migrate into or out of theTransend Transport File.
  • The Transend Transport file has the .TRF file extension.
