vCard VCF Considerations

Transend Migration Console converts Electronic Business Cards also known as VCard / VCF. The vCard is a single file containing contact information about a specific individual or business. Normally, this information is kept within a contact list or address book, but that information can be exported to a vCard file.

Many IMAP or POP3 based email systems import or export address books in the vCard format, so choose this format if you need to transfer data between systems, and if it supports this format.

Requirements

  • No additional software is required.
  • The vCard is identified by the .VCF file extension, but it can have any extension. Kerio stores vCards with the .EML file extension.
