vCard VCF Considerations

Transend Migration Console converts Electronic Business Cards also known asvCard / VCF. The vCard is a single file containing contact information about aspecific individual or business. Normally, this information is kept within acontact list or address book, but that information can be exported to a vCardfile.

Many IMAP or POP3 based email systems import or export address books in thevCard format, so choose this format if you need to transfer data betweensystems, and if it supports this format.

Requirements

  • No additional software is required.
  • The vCard is identified by the .VCF file extension, but it can have anyextension. Kerio stores vCards with the .EML file extension.
