Microsoft SharePoint Provisioning
Transend can automate provisioning Shared Drives in Microsoft SharePoint as aservice.
What is Supported?
Transend supports provisioning of Microsoft 365 Shared Drives with Membershippermissions. Communication and Team Sites are supported (which are the twochoices you have by default when creating a Site in the SharePoint UI). Theseare the two modern Site types promoted by Microsoft. While legacy types areavailable from Microsoft, they are not currently supported by Transend. All fourof the Site Membership permissions are supported (Admin, Owner, Member,Visitor). Removing permissions is not currently supported.
Note: Any requested functionality not currently supported or advertised assupported by Transend is considered an enhancement and may require additionaldevelopment fees.
Use Cases
The following provisioning scenarios are supported:
Microsoft 365 to Microsoft 365
All Microsoft 365 Shared Drives are exported from the source tenant. If eachSite has exactly one Document Library, these will be provisioned as-is intothe target tenant. If a Site has more than one Document Library, Transendwill work with the customer to provide the best target mapping while workingwithin the confines of Transend’s current tooling functionality.
Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace
Same as the Microsoft 365 to Microsoft 365 scenario.
Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
All Google Workspace Shared Drives are exported from the source tenant andimported as-is into the target tenant.
Other
Transend will work with the customer to provide the best target mapping whileworking within the confines of Transend’s current tooling functionality.
