Connectivity between the Daemon and Remote Agents

Migration job files are created by the Console and stored in C:\ProgramData\Transend\tmcd\std_jobs. Numbered jobs appear there with a .JOB file extension. After the Daemon successfully transfers a job file to a Remote Agent, the file gets renamed to .OLD (i.e. – 42.job becomes 42.old).

Note: Depending on the number of users migrating and the scale of the migration machines, it may take some time for those jobs to be distributed to the Remote Agents.

The Daemon log TMCD.log (in C:\ProgramData\Transend\tmcd) contains information about connections to Remote Agents and which user jobs are sent to each Remote Agent. It can be opened in a text viewer. This log is constantly updating, so do not edit or save changes to the file!
