EWS Basic Authentication Options
Basic Authentication has been deprecated by Microsoft and replaced with Modern Authentication. However, in some cases you may still use Basic Authentication during migration.
Basic Authentication relies on sending usernames and passwords — often stored on or saved to the device — with every request, increasing the security risks.
