Optional Configuration Settings
We have pre-enabled the appropriate Optional configuration settings to optimize your migration performance and data fidelity. The Optional settings are enabled based on your source/target platform and protocol selections, data types selected for migration and authentication method.
However, every migration is unique, so we have also provided additional options that are available to alter the default behavior.
Note:
Options on this screen are not required to successfully migrate data.
Important!
When entering data into configuration settings, we recommend that you don’t copy/paste from any online documentation, but rather re-type the data to ensure proper encoding.
Basic Options
Basic options are commonly used options that alter the default behavior. The appropriate Basic Options have been pre-enabled depending on the source and target mail platforms you have selected.

Edit (Clone) Configuration
Once you have started a migration with a Configuration, that Configuration is locked and no longer editable. However, to change a specific Configuration’s settings or values (for use in a subsequent migration), it’s recommended you Clone the Configuration.
Once you Clone the Configuration, you can then edit and update necessary Configuration settings to be used in a subsequent migration.
